Benefits: Arthritis, bronchitis, colds, coughs, cramps, dental infections, fatigue, flatulence, indigestion, muscle cramp, nausea, neuralgia, rheumatism, viral infections. Reduces stress, depression, and mental / emotional exhaustion. Is used in perfumes, soaps, and aftershave.
Blends Well With: Geranium, ginger, labdanum, lavender, neroli, opopanax, patchouli, ylang ylang, oriental and spicy bases.
Of Interest: Was named allspice because it tastes like a blend of cinnamon, cloves, and juniper berries.
Safety Data: Dermal and mucous membrane irritation due to the high content of eugenol. Avoid during pregnancy. Use in low dilutions.
