My Experiences
For Tonsillitis I have found Hepar Sulph. very effective. It acts as preventive to Tonsillitis. It cures the trouble at any stage. I am using it since twelve years successfully. I use it in higher potencies. In many cases it has shown miraculous effects even after the failure of anti-biotics. Among Biochemic drugs Ferrum Phos. is very useful especially at initial stages. It acts as preventive also. In general I use Ferrum Phos. and if the condition advances I prefer to take Hepar Sulph. Among herbal remedies the use of Amaltas (Cassia fistula) bark is very useful. The bark is used in form of decoction. Two to three times gargle with this decoction in a day acts in promising ways. I have also found the gargle of Fitkari (Alum) based formulation useful .The natives of Chhattisgarh are using it since generations. Gargle with Tr. Sulph. Acidum is useful at very initial stages. In general the patients are advised to take lukewarm water sip by sip. It gives much relief from pain. The patients are advised to be happy. Although it is hard to believe but the happiness gives much relief to such patients. I have also found Calcarea Phos. useful .But for promising effects its long term use is required. The surgery donot give much relief. Also the patients are advised to avoid anti-biotics.
